Writing articles for marketing can be very important when used for building a trusting business relationship. Once you have gained the trust of your customers through your articles, and they find the information useful and interesting they will pass on the information and your web address to friends and other business people.
An article marketing campaign can be useful in building a contact list of other companies that are relevant to your product or topic.
All the above advantages for your business will not be possible using an article marketing strategy, if your article is not constructed correctly.
These are the four elements that must be included in your articles on business:
1. Keywords and Keyword Phrases.
Your title, this is probably the most important part of your article, for getting prospective customers to “click” and read more about your product or topic. Your title is important for attracting the attentions of the search engines and helping to build a customer base.
You must use keywords and keyword phrases in your title, you must make your title clear and enticing. You must also use keywords and phrases that are relevant to your topic and content.
Keywords and phrases must be used in the body of your article. Use keywords correctly by “spreading” them through the body of your content. Make sure your keywords flow and integrate with the rest of your article. Do not “over stuff” your content with keywords or keyword phrases just for search engine optimization, this will do more harm than good.
2. Keyword Density.
Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used in the body of your article content.
Keep your main keywords or keyword phrases to about 2% to 4% of your content and use other variations of your keywords in the rest of your article. By using this method the search engines will not view your article as being written for search engine rank only.
3. Good interesting article content.
The art of writing good good interesting article content, is to write content that is unique, informative and interesting, the content should also be on topic. Do not use technical language, your writing should be simple and straight to the point.
You should use language that all of your customers can understand, the reason for this is because some of your readers will not know, or be interested in the technical side of your business.
Content should be written in short easy to understand paragraphs. Keep descriptions and details brief and to the point. Do not use excessive graphics or illustrations, this will only slow down the loading of your site, and there is nothing more annoying for your customers than a slow loading site.
Make sure your article is easy to read, and use good grammar and also make sure there are no spelling mistakes.
4. Linking Your Articles.
This is another important element you must use in your articles. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to other sites or newsletters. It is very important that you do not forget include a link to your site.
Place a resource box at the bottom of your article, create a brief bio about yourself and your product and show a link that can be clicked to access your site. Also include a call to action like “click here” or “click here for more information” use your imagination and come up with more inventive calls to action.
Please understand that you will not be able write an effective business article, if you do not incorporate these very important elements into the article you are writing. Good luck.
